Steam Controller Still Great When Not Gaming

For those curious, the controller can be left active on desktop (as long as Steam is running) and mapped to M+KB using Steam Input.

Mapping the entire right side of the controller for one-handed "Wii remote" style browsing with Gyro & a center mouse button makes this an easy replacement for the wireless keyboard I've been using when not sitting directly at my desk. The ["..." + X] button combo brings up the Steam Virtual Keyboard like the Deck as well which eliminates the use for my wireless Logitech Keyboard even further.

Small issue being accidentally dragging anything clickable when using the gyro aim - this can be fixed if you add trigger dampening to allow your clicks to be more precise without bouncing around enough to register a drag.

Right stick is mapped to Page Up & Page Down, L+R arrows and face buttons are L+R Clicks, back/forward mouse buttons.

Having a great time figuring out how I'll be using this thing and I'm very impressed with utilizing it for other things not related to gaming! Thinking of figuring out mapping an action set for a DAW, not sure what for yet though.

Anybody else currently testing it in non-gaming cases?
