Hi there!

I’m exploring becoming a host family and wanted to get opinions and advice on how an Au Pair might be better/worse/the same for two working parents with very demanding jobs working long hours and sometimes weekends with an 18 month old and a new baby on the way.

I know there are limits to the hours an Au Pair can work - are we better off doing nanny/day care and mothers helper at night and over the weekend?

Curious if anyone in a similar situation has hosted an Au Pair and what the real pros and cons are for a family like ours.
