Good Morning (at least in Germany) dear Experts!

My 5 year old son found this tooth on a beach in Heidenfahrt at the river Rhine close to Mainz in Germany. Now we are asking ourselves if this is a Fossil or not. I tried to compare it with modern fish and animal teeth but hadn't a lot of luck finding something comparable. Doesn't look like the Standart Shark tooth that you can buy online either. What do you guys and girls think?
