Hi, so I've been to this sub before and I know there's a lot of good information on here. A little background info: I recently quit valium a few months ago. I was taking it daily and before that, ativan daily. I'm currently completely off both but I'm still taking zolpidem cr (aka ambien cr) every night. I'm at the max dose but I still end up running out early of my prescription each month. I'm kind of a fiend with that stuff. Plus it's like the only thing that really gives me relief from my anxiety currently. I literally just took a quarter tablet before typing this and I actually feel semi-normal now. I really don't want to be waiting all day to take a sleeping pill just to get anxiety relief though.
Anyway, I have some experience with AM. I also quit valium a few years ago, and when I got off, I was using an AM panther tincture daily to help get relief (with a few off days for t breaks). I do think it was helping. My anxiety was a lot lower at that time. I still have some of my old tincture left and I've been using it periodically. The thing is I wasn't on ambien then so that's kinda the curveball right now. I was using a whole ml of the tincture then, sometimes 2 or even 3 mls. Now I usually only take a quarter to a half a ml just to be safe. The strength is 250mg/ml.
I also have some dried caps from a few years ago but never used them because I've seen so much different info about how to decarb correctly. I wanted to make sure I was actually doing it correctly. I'm not even sure if they'd still be good since they're a few years old. I never opened the package so that might help with keeping them fresh.
Anyway, if anyone has any advice they could give me, in particular people with firsthand experience with this, I would really appreciate it. My anxiety has gotten really bad recently and I just want to recover from this finally so I can move forward with my life.
