Hello again! This is the Synergy Green Guy.

Last week the previous owner of my car (My father still has contact with him, in fact where he works is in close proximity to the seller) had given my father a new Diffuser. The seller has another Camaro, a SS I believe. And it seemed he was making the trades of parts, so I was luckily given the hand-me-down.

Now something to get out right away is that I know little to nothing about cars, but I do want to learn and I plan on purchasing books (especially the Camaro owners manual and maintenance manual) I say this because last week I didn't even know what this piece was called lol.

All that to say I'm conflicted on how I should go about replacing this diffuser (there are other things about this car I have to fix.)

What I'm wondering is what route I should do.

  1. Learn to do it DIY

I purchase the tools needed, and whenever I have a day open, watch videos and make sure I know how to do it. Then do the replacement myself.

  1. Take it to a professional.

I have other parts of the car I would like to repair, for one the drivers seat can't be adjusted and the wiring is exposed. So I'm debating if I should gather up enough money, and whatever parts needed. And have it all repaired/replaced at once.

  1. Contact the private seller

Go visit him, and depending on the circumstances, pay him and he helps me replace the diffuser.

What would be the best course of action? I appreciate any advice I may receive.
