Hello!
My roommate [31F] and I [29M] are looking for another roommate. We live in a 3 bed/3 bath townhome in the UTC/UCSD area. We have 1 dog and soon to have 1 cat. It's a senior girl dog who is very quiet and calm and mostly stays in her room. The room we are renting will be $1,150 plus utilities. I’ll leave more info below regarding the house/room and the people living in it! The room will be available for move-in after July 1st with a commitment of one full year as you will be signing a lease with our landlord.
About the house + room:
House: Multi-leveled townhome in a quiet complex. Garage with washer/dryer and home of 4 vehicles, plenty of storage space for spare things. The living room is currently under cosmetic renovations but still can be used, TV room, bar in the dining room, and common areas are on different levels from the bedrooms. We enjoy hosting small get togethers on holidays or simply when in the mood to host. Pool, jacuzzi, and sauna area a few feet away from our garage.
Room: 10’x10’, includes a balcony, bathroom is shared with one other person. Plenty of storage space throughout the house, including 1 off-street parking spot that is located behind the home.
About roommates:
29M roomie: Early to bed and early to rise is the name of my game. I work outside the home 5 days a week and when I’m not at work I enjoy going to trivia or riding motorcycles with friends. I do like to host get-togethers every once in a while, but aim to be respectful and give as much advance notice as I can :).
31F roomie: WFH in customer service, room is next to the \[currently vacant\] room and shares the bathroom. Smokes weed, enjoys reading, playing PC games, and watching tv. Shares a room with Chloe. Mostly a homebody but likes the occasional dinner at Chili’s on a Friday night followed by going to Pockets to play some pool.
Chloe \[pet\]: 11 years old mixed pup, super anxious but pretty social, prefers to be non-verbal but a crybaby. Spends most of her time in her room or if in the mood to socialize will sit with others in the tv room.
You: Working professional. Late 20s or early 30s. Willing to help around the house. Maybe have dinner together on occasion? No pets please :)
