Library weirdness involving manga

did you know that only people between the ages of 13 and 17 are allowed to read manga if you go by the metropolitan library system?

walked to the capitol hill library and when i was going to find me some volumes of manga to read i found a sign

"We are fully willing to accommodate children and adults in the rest of the Library, but the teen section is a safe space for teens. no children and no adults are allowed in the teen section. only teens between the ages of 13 and 17"

when i brought it up to the front desk they said that that means you can access the YA books and manga but you can't sit down in the chairs..

that's not what the sign said as of today. they might have changed it after i left. just wanted to warn fellow anime and manga fans that the library thinks you shouldn't be allowed to read dragonball, or attack on titan

i told them.. and i even contacted the admin phone number about it.. that books should not be locked in a "safe space" that the computers the teens use and the seating being sectioned off is fine but no books should be cut off from anyone in a library for any reason. and the manga should have it's own section agnostic to age ranges

i'm going to preface this with be careful to get THIS specific stuff. because i can not vouch for other brands. but this is cheap. i've been using it for literal years with no problems. mix in whatever percentage of other media you wish but i've tested this stuff again as i said for literal years. i have plants that have been in it for upwards of 5 years before i noticed any degradation in the particles. and it's very well draining once it's been watered a few times and the dust has all washed away

now remember get THIS SPECIFIC ONE!!!

yes i know.. cat litter is thought to be very bad for bonsai. but it's far cheaper than akadama. shares most of the benefits. and as long as you wash out the dust works great.

i tend to do a mix of 2 parts this. 1 part sand. and one part whatever organic you want to use to retain moisture and slow release nutrients
