2 Replacements Needed (NYY & BAL) for FREE 30T MLB Salary Cap Dynasty (w/ Real Player Salaries!)
Hey there, just like the title says, we need a replacement New York Yankees owner and a replacement Baltimore Owners owner.
The Baltimore owner hasn't been responding to any DMs for a few days now, and the Yankees manager has had problems being repeatedly inappropriate and vulgar in the main chat--even when warned several times.
The league is FREE and held on Fantrax. We use real MLB player luxury tax hits as our salaries, and have a salary cap of $244M with a floor of $67M.
If you cut a player with a salary, you must pay a portion of his contract still. These rules are further defined in the league Discord, which is a requirement to join if you want to be a part of this league.
You can have up to 40 players (majors or minors combined) on your roster, plus 8 IR spots for any player who is on the DL in real life.
We start 2 C, 1 1B, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 SS, 1 CI, 1 MI, 4 OF, 1 UT, 5 SP, 7 RP, 1 P. You must have a minimum of: 1 C, 1 1B, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 SS, 3 OF, 1 UT, 5 SP, 3 RP in your active roster at all times (even if the player themselves may not be active).
Players in the Minors do NOT count against the salary cap, but players on the IR still do. Minors eligibility is any player in the Minors in real life, plus any prospect-eligible player (130 ABs, 50 IPs).
Scoring categories are HR, RBI, R, SB, OBP, QS, K, ERA, SVH, WHIP with a 25 IP minimum and a 10 GS max per week.
There are seven matchups each week, so you will be playing seven people at a time each scoring matchup period. Regular season lasts for 22 weeks.
Playoffs start Week 23 and work just like the real MLB does.
Player eligibility is pretty standard: 10 GP for in-season, 20 GP to carry-over to next year for hitters; 3/5 GS for starting pitchers, and 5/8 relief apperances for relief pitchers.
Players go on waivers 1 day (at least 24 hours) once dropped/added to system but all non-waived players are eligible to be picked up at any time, excluding FYP's like Roch Cholowsky of course.
We will use a draft lottery to determine future draft orders.
