I love this thing. It’s one of my most prized possessions. I really want to put it on my front porch but I’m not sure the best way to get it ready to be outdoors while retaining the look.

Update: okay okay! I get it! This little gremlin is going to live indoors. I’m overwhelmed by the response to this post. I’m happy to see my guy has brothers and sisters out there, and that you all enjoyed this post so much :)

For the curious; here’s what I know: my grandfather got this somewhere between Cambodia and China or possibly Japan. He got it back in the 80’s. It’s hand made and no cnc was involved as far as I know. Theres a bunch of these out there too traveling the world.
