I don't know what can be done about this but we need to come together as a community and take action against American avenue. They own most of the affordable housing for rent on zillow/apartments.com. I've heard terrible things about the maintenance services they provide but my main gripe is you will apply for one place they have listed and they will contact you saying, "this property is no longer avaible but we have x amount of similar properties you can choose from. This should be downright illegal. If you apply for a place for rent it should be available and if it isn't, the listing should be taken down. Plain and simple. This has happened to me TWICE in last 2-3 years. If anyone is serious about doing something about this shoot me a DM and lets start working to do something about this terrible company.
