My first year gardening update

It’s been so satisfying to watch all the seeds that i planted become full fledged plants! I have carrots, salad, mache, and radish growing in my outside bed. In my greenhouse I have loooaads of basil plant that i dont have bigger pots for, some thyme and a comically small amount of chives (the seeds floated in all directions when I watered in the beginning apparently). Also a larger container with a courgette plant, but it doesn’t look to me like its doing that great? (I used too much compost)

Anyways, because I planted all my salad at the same time, I can’t eat it all every day. Does anyone have suggestions or advice on how to either store it for a longer time or get more use out of it before it starts to flower and turn bitter?

Also the basil, there’s loads. I want to prune them to make them more bushy, but dont really know what to do with all of it. I only use a couple leaves on my food most of the time.

Tips are appreciated!!

Happy gardening!
