Optimistic

I am gutted by today’s loss, but at the same time I still have faith in this club and looking at the rest of the season for both us and spurs I think we will be fine

We have Newcastle who is guaranteed safe already and can’t mathematically make Europe, a team with literally nothing to play for, and likely a Leeds in the same position at the end of the season

Spuds have Leeds tomorrow who are playing to guarantee safety, Chelsea at Stamford Bridge (which is a game they’ve won once in 35 years) who will either be coming off an FA Cup win or loss, and may or may not need the win to make Europe, but regardless will play to beat spuds, and an Everton side also trying for Europe

A loss today was expected, so while beat up over the loss, I haven’t lost faith or optimism in the lads or the team

Edit: By Leeds playing for safety I was thinking in terms of us leapfrogging spuds so Leeds winning tomorrow would guarantee them from spuds too if that makes sense, I might still be wrong in my thinking
