I will be traveling to Traverse City in October to meet some friends and family. Last time i was there was ages ago (as a child). So what are day trips i can take from Traverse City? My interests include hikes, lakes, casual/calm water sports (kayaks etc), nature stuff in general (rock formations waterfalls etc), nice bars, ghost towns, American lore, Western culture, small town vibes.
