Searching for 3-4 players for an old school essentials campaign in a homebrew world. Especially interested in newcomers or people wanting to try out OSR. Not intended to be a High-Lethality character mill but rather a high fantasy game with characters who may not necessarily be superheroes but are still a cut above the average person.
If you wanna try OSR but wanna be able to get invested in a character long term in a game more forgiving on death and injury, then give my game a try
There will be quite a few house rules to do so, and I'll be happy to share them later. Your characters will be entering a recently settled land called Mythshire, which I describe here:
Mythshire is a cosmopolitan setting of your standard high fantasy fare. Mythshire is a vale in a perpetual loop of Autumn and Spring. Characterized by waterside forests of burnt-orange leaves and wide pumpkin patches half the year. The other half is comfortable, rainy spring mornings and cool, breezy nights. Never really too hot, and only ever too cold on the ice-packed peaks around the vale. While of course the whole place sounds rather idyllic and carefree, for every babbling spring brook and moody autumn grove there is a dark tower clouded by fog and deep, shadowy cavern.
Malevolent fey are just as common as friendly faeries. Troops of goblins conspire to raid and steal while others are only conspiring how to best go about raiding the tavern's ale.
For every gentle giant shepherd, there is a cruel ogre warlord.
