I spent hours trying to get an area under pine trees under control. We have bananas and cannas in our yard. The previous owner had planted this area but we’ve ignored since we moved in 3 years ago. I unearthed so many beautiful plants and removed debris and other weeds. There were 10-15 of these plants, at various growth stages. I think canna but I’ve never noticed blooms in that area over the 3 years.

I’m not finished yet, and have some shade loving plants that I plan to add. It was hot yesterday and I had to quit.
