Ash vase with woodwax

My second try using woodwax. I love this technique. Still figuring out how to properly use clear lacquer.

edit: thats how i did it - turned the ash and sanded it up to 400. With a bronze bursh i brushed the endgrain. Apparently it clears the endgrain (opens them) so more wax can enter. Clean the piece with a towel. I used Chestnut Ebonizing Spray and coated the whole piece with that. After ~10min i added the wax using either a papertowel or you can use gloves and rub it in. The more you press into the grain the better the endresult. After another 5-10min i used a wet piece of cloth and try to remove the excess wax (between the grain). That´s it. After this step you can choose to use laquer for the super shiny effect but it is not needed.
The good thing is, if you screw up any step, you can just turn a little bit of wood and you can try start over again!
