I’ve been seeing several questions recently about recommendations for 8+ blasters so I decided to make this to hopefully help people out in the future.

All of these blasters use full length darts and shoot around 70 to 80 FPS feet per second the average Nerf blaster shoots about 70.

Hasbro‘s Nerf as a brand isn’t that great especially for the price (they used to be the best). Nerf has become the term for foam dart blasters.

I’ve heard that X shots mag springs leave something to be desired and don’t always feed.

Does it have something to do with the spring tension?

Is there a cheap way I can fix this without losing too much capacity?

Could I just double up springs?

my library has free 3-D printing so are there any full length mag fed blasters that require under eight dollars in hardware and can use 3-D printed wheels?

I’m fine with buying bulk screws off Amazon as I am planning on building 6+ as long as the total cost stays under $10 a piece.

I already printed one out, but the agitator gate is not fitting it right and is getting in the way / causing jams. could someone drop a link to one that they like?

i’mprimarily looking for files as I don’t want to spend a whole lot on one.

i’m consider, considering either taking a smiley which I already have printed or an elk L by moosewhich I’ll have to print and get hardware for. I’m planning on using whatever springer I bring for 250 FPS games.

I’m also bringing a venom pro for lower FPS stuff.

Because I’m staying in a dorm and space is limited I’m debating printing out a smaller primary. Do you think I should print out a primary pistol or take the smiley?

I probably won’t have that much time for nerf but would like to bring something.

Also, does anyone have a holster for an elk L?
