Hey everyone,

Later this month I’m having dinner at De Librije, a three-star Michelin restaurant in Zwolle (The Netherlands). We are also spending the night at their hotel, located right next to the restaurant. We booked a package that includes the dinner, drinks, the hotel-stay and the breakfast.

Normally I would tip at the end of the dinner, when paying the bill. The confirmation e-mail says: “You may settle the full payment of your package upon checking out”. But somehow it feels weird for me to tip at the end of our stay, and not on the night of the dinner when speaking to the waiter.

What would you do in this specific situation? What is expected? I just want to do the right thing.
