So firstly my information:
- Male 22
- 184cm
- 56-57~kg
So this year I started to wanting to gain weight, preferably around 10kg above my current weight. I started doubling my portions and going to the gym 2 times a week. However, I was not consistent and stopped going roughly 2 months in. And now I want to pick it up again but whenever I look for tips or just more information. I just get some many of things like this: "if you do the workout like this... you will never gain muscle!, "if you eat like this... you're might as well already quit!". I'm so lost, like why are there so many invisible rules that never stop.
My plan is just to eat around 500 calories and protein above my maintaince and lift weights for at least 3 times a week, that should give me some gains right?
Pls help a poor innocent boy out.
