Hi I'm going to get right into I'm a union carpentry apprentice I've been struggling to keep up with learning how to do the most basic of tasks or do them efficiently. I especially struggle to keep busy when it's getting slow I'm good at the manual labor portion but I'm lackluster at best when it comes down to any real work. I had my required class this week to "train" us apprentices I'm a second year out of 4 but I've barely learned a thing and it's starting to show I'm the slowest in the class I've been laid off for 5 months so I tried landscaping for a few weeks in-between Im not any better at learning anything to do with landscaping let alone my carpentry classes I'm afraid that once I get with another company a journeyman is gonna see my lackluster skill set and give me the boot sorry if this is more of a rant than anything else but I don't really know if I'm cut out for the trades I know I'm not cut out for anything academicly at college or a desk job I'm kinda running out of options
