my old sedan is dying and i need one for about 50 miles round trip a few times a week plus occasional weekend trips with gear. im 34, married no kids yet, and trying to stay under 18k. looking at 2018-2021 Accords or Passats with 60-90k miles. the Honda seems bulletproof but the VW has more space and feels nicer on the highway from what ive driven.

local listings look okay but im nervous about the VW maintenance costs down the road. i dont need luxury just comfy seats, decent mpg and room for stuff without a truck. dealer certified might cost more but private sales are tempting. has anyone daily driven either lately and wish they picked the other?

I understand watching professional sports but I never quite got why millions of people tune in to watch strangers play video games on Twitch or YouTube. They watch entire playthroughs or even just someone grinding in a game.

Is it the entertainment value the skill the commentary or something else? Does it feel like hanging out with a friend or is it more like following a sports match? Curious why this became such a huge part of gaming culture
