For context I got Tekken 7 on sale a while ago and now the online isn't really too good (always happy to get an online match with good conenction even if I get my ass whooped).

I've been thinking of moving to Tekken 8 since I heard the online rollback is better, but with any fighting game I worry about how long the support will be? Im sort of a cheapo freak so I rarely buy games right on launch. Would you say 8 is worth the move or should I wait till 9?

I'm 5'4 24M and never really cared much for my height but thought id ask about the pros and cons since I'm pretty new to the idea of picking up a trade. I'm working on my physical conditioning as well, I'm about 145 lbs skinny fat right now but I've started lifting more with a much cleaner diet.
