Tried my first worldwide Costco in Japan!

As a Seattle native, this was my first time traversing to a worldwide food court, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Got to try most of the items, see my personal rankings below:

  1. Pizza (Margherita) - Sleeper banger, reminded me of NYC pizza. I was actually shocked how good this pizza was.

  2. Salmon Poke Roll - Sushi in Japan…need I say more? Great price for such a large HQ roll.

  3. Hokkaido Soft Serve - With soft serve being a staple in Japan, I was not surprised this was gonna be amazing. Super creamy and thick, it definitely could compete against other soft serve places around Osaka I had.

  4. Hot Dog - Another classic, hard to mess this one up. Some folks may not like the type of hot dog meat used but I found it fine.

  5. Clam chowder - This was decent, it was a tad watery (I’m used to thick clam chowder from Seattle) but it really wasn’t bad.

  6. Chicken Sticks - This was lowkey a mistake as it clearly was supposed to serve a family of 2-3 kids and not one guy lmao. Got like a 1 lb basket of tenders that tasted like Dino nuggets. Definitely a niche case to get this.

  7. Melon smoothie - I was not a fan, felt like someone grabbed cantaloupe and squished it into a drink. Definitely another more unique item for someone that loves melons to get.
