Baking and Molding My Risports @165°F Worked

I tested my oven's consistency with a jar numerous times. It took 40 mins @ 175 with no preheat to get the skates themselves almost fully heatsoaked. Risport specs 158°F for heat molding. Did it this morning and wore them for an hour and molded them by hand as they first cooled, then did a lot of standing against the toe stops. Went to the rink for a few hours of practice and they are far more comfortable and quickly had me doing more fluid and controlled movements. I still need to do some minor stretching/punching to make them perfect, but they have gone from a problem to long term acceptable if necessary.

Note: it was completely unnecessary to disassemble them to protect any parts. They were no hotter than if they were left in a closed black car in the sun on a hot summer day.
