5% drop on NBME 32

Testing June 4th

NBME 26: 49%
NBME 27: 69%
NBME 33: 69%
Free 120 (2026): 76%
NBME 30: 73%
NBME 31: 83%
NBME 32: 78%

I think it should be ok, but there were a lot of questions where I was guessing, feel that I could have gotten lower cause of questions I got right solely out of luck

On to the last 3 weeks of prep. Very worried even if according to NBMEs I should be ok.

I get really nervous on test days and even if I try to replicate test conditions the day of it’ll feel real. Don’t wanna be one of those posts where all NBMEs say Pass but the person fails.

Sorry for the venting and best of luck in this journey.
Happy to talk to anyone testing around the same dates
Cheers!

Hi! Basically what the title says. Due to a mistake when booking the triad, the soonest I can give Step1 is June 4th.
I’ve watched all of Bootcamp, I’m 97% done with UWorld and onto chapter 7 of Pathoma.

My SA so far are:
NBME 26: 49%
NBME 27: 69%
NBME 33: 69%
Free 120 (2026): 76%
NBME 30: 73%
NBME 31: 83%

I’m trying to keep it up in terms of study, doing 80-120 Qs a day, watching Pathoma and reviewing but truth be told I’m already a bit burned out, getting distracted more easily and stressing a lot about failing even when SA says I shouldn’t (which would make failing worse)

Anyways, other than venting (which is always needed), I wanted to ask for advice on how to spend these last few weeks. What to focus on other than reviewing NBME’s and such

Thank you and hope your study goes smoothly!

Hi!

I posted yesterday in a flurry of stress about moving my test date forward without realizing that I had booked my triad starting June (very foolish but oh well)

I currently have it booked for June 25 but I’m wondering if it would be worth it to move it forward to June 4 or June 11.

What I have is:

-UWorld: 93% done with 66% correct

-NBME 26: 49% (first one, awful)

-NBME 27: 69%

-NBME 33: 69%

-Free 120 (2026): 76%

I’ll definitely do a couple more NBME’s, try to finish UWorld and review Pathoma (haven’t done that yet)

Just wondering if I need 8 whole weeks for that or if I can go for it sooner

Sorry for the confusion!

Cheers!

Hey! Hope everyone’s is well

I’m in a predicament. The only date available in the next 6 months for Step1 in my country is this Wednesday.

There’s later dates in a neighboring country mid/end June.

I’m leaning towards waiting for June but some close people say go for it. I think the risk may be too great even if travelling for the test is a bit more pricey

All I have (cause I never thought about taking Step1 so soon) is

NBME 26: 49%

NBME 27: 69%

NBME 33: 69%

New Free120: 76%

UWorld 93% done with 66% correct

I’ve gone over most of Bootcamp already, my plan was/is to go over Pathoma and review UWorld questions and NBME’s for the next month.

What would you do? I know in the end the decision is mine but I would truly appreciate any insight

Update: I was a fool and booked the eligibility starting June so no can do for Wednesday. Sigh. I better review well and solidify the knowledge with the extra time I have
