What is everyone’s thoughts on secondhand clothes that are a cotton polyester blend?

I recently got a bag of toddler clothes from a friend. Most of clothes are a cotton blend with polyester. My toddler wear 100% cotton but it’s a more recent change, I was always mindful but have been more on it with my little research. It is would be nice to have some clothes that I’m not as worried that she will ruin with playing or crafts. I’m just on the fence about 30%-40% polyester clothes. I know polyester is not good but I can’t find anything about second hand clothes are all bad? Please give me your opinions and advice.
