Fishing in italy (la spezia)
Hey everyone,
me and my two buddies are currently in Italy near La Spezia and we’ve been trying to do some shore fishing from the coast and the harbor moles. So far we’ve had absolutely no luck. We even talked to some local anglers who were fishing for dorade with bottom rigs, and even they weren’t catching anything at the mole in La Spezia.
The biggest problem right now seems to be the conditions. The waves are pretty rough and a lot of the spots we wanted to try are basically unfishable because the swell is hitting the rocks hard. We’ve tried different baits and rigs already, mostly bottom setups, but still no bites at all.
Does anyone know good shore fishing spots around La Spezia that still work in rough conditions? Or maybe techniques/species that are better right now? Any advice would be really appreciated because we’re starting to feel cursed 😂
