From a SBL point of view one of the (100% natural) guys at the gym says he does 300 reps on the machines (20 reps at low weights working down to 10 reps in the heavier ends).

He does this for 1 body part only.

Is this efficient and build muscle ?

In progressive overload, assuming your are doing 8 reps, is it better to do an extra rep or increase weight. I'm trying to increase my strength (only doing 45kg bench press - so embarrassing!!)
