Hello everyone,

in the past few weeks I tried several different methods of recording my Rytm into Ableton and it got me curious how others record their drum sounds and patterns.

Do you record from the main outs? Do you use the individual outs? Do you use Overbridge? Do you record one shots or do you record your whole performance or anything in between?

I would be grateful if some of you could share your insights and the pros and cons of each method you have tried. Currently I am recording one shots and loops from the main outs by unmuting one channel at a time instead of Overbridge because I don't want to lose the master distortion and the compressor.
