Hi, I'm a postgraduate from an East Asia country and plan to apply for the Australia IMG pathway. I'm now still preparing for the IELTS and AMC MCQ, which may take 1-2 years, depending on my lab research workloads.

Recently I've been bothered that it's really hard for an IMG to apply for a PGY1, even under provisional registration. My country doesn't provide any clinical internship experiences that Australia accept, so is it barely possible for me to choose Australia?

Or maybe is it possible to:

1. Apply for MM5-MM7 PGY1 jobs
2. Gain some experiences somewhere else?
