I am wanting to change a SoftStep3 controller which only outputs a specified velocity in it's editor to be able to read the pressure data and give live velocity feeds.
It seems like it should be something simple, but the controller didn't do this as I expected and it messures pressure but no attack velocity. I'd like it to feel alive and responsive to the actual pressure of a press.
Is it possible to turn a controller which messure pressure sensitivity into a kick pedal function, so that the pressure at its max equals the velocity of a midi output instead? To do this without a delay and easily has not come so simple!
I'm at what feels final straws, there just must be people out there that have dealt with this issue before?
