What is the ground reality of Northeastern MSBA for Indian students in 2026?

Hi everyone,
I’m from India and recently got admitted to Northeastern University’s MS in Business Analytics program for Fall 2026 with a 20% scholarship.
Background:
Graduated in 2025

my_qualifications BBA in Business Analytics from Bennett University

Internship experience in analytics and marketing

Interested in analytics/business/data-related roles

I’m seriously confused about whether pursuing this degree in the USA is worth the financial risk right now.
I wanted honest advice from Indians already studying or working in the US regarding:
current job market for international students

internship/co-op opportunities

sponsorship reality for analytics roles

ROI after tuition and living expenses

whether non-engineering students struggle more

whether you would still choose the US in 2026

I do not want promotional answers — I genuinely want the real ground reality before taking a big education loan.
Would really appreciate honest opinions. Thank you.

Indian student confused about Northeastern MSBA 2026 – honest advice needed

Hi everyone,
I’m an Indian student and recently graduated in 2025 with a BBA in Business Analytics from Bennett University, India. I recently received admission to the MS in Business Analytics program at Northeastern University for Fall 2026 along with a 20% scholarship.
My profile:
BBA in Business Analytics

GPA around 8.5/10

Internship experience in business analytics and digital marketing

Interested in analytics/data/business roles

I wanted honest opinions from current students, alumni, or anyone aware of the current US job market because I am genuinely confused about whether this is the right decision financially and career-wise.
Some questions I have:
How good is Northeastern’s MSBA program actually?

Does the co-op system genuinely help international students get jobs?

Are international students realistically getting internships/full-time analytics jobs in 2026?

How difficult is sponsorship/H1B currently for analytics/business analyst roles?

Is the ROI worth it considering tuition + Boston living expenses?

Does having a non-engineering background (BBA instead of CS) create problems during job search?

Are students struggling to secure jobs after graduation?

If you were in my position today, would you still choose the USA?

I’m asking because taking a big education loan for the US feels risky in the current market, and I want genuine ground reality instead of promotional information.
Would really appreciate honest feedback, even if negative. Thank you.
