First time poster: Trying to make macaron candle for the first time - advice needed
Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here. I'm trying to make macaron candles (wax melts). The macaron shell turns out okay, but faced a lot issues with the whipped wax cream.
The cream hardens too fast, and difficult to "pipe" out of the tip (I used normal piping bag, and close star tip). The wax pushed out the tip instead.
I re-do another batch and manage to pipe out successfully this time, but by the time the "cream" dried, it started to look very cracky and brittle instead of smooth and fluffy
A few details - I used 80/10/10 blend of container soy, pillar soy and beeswax. I melt altogether, stir vigorously to introduce air bubbles and put into the piping bag and around 50~60 degree.
*Sorry, english is not my first language. I tried my best to describe.*
