No one is ever going to confuse me with Nick Offerman, but I love my rig. Pedal board has everything I need and I love my Milkman the Amp 50. The cabinet is pine and has 2x 1990s Celestion Vintage 30s running together in 8 ohms. The other cabinet is a recent build that has a single Super 65 at 8 ohms.
Just waiting on my JHS Coyote Fuzz and the board is complete. May actually have room for a front of gain EQ pedal also. Off board are a Dunlop DVP4 for the HX Effects and an Xotic XW-1 Wah. Open to your thoughts, especially if you know midi routing with HX Effects…have a midi thru-chain from HX Effects to D1 Delay to M1 Modulation.
One is a 1995 Fender Traditional/Squier Series (shop may have rubbed off the Squier at the tip of the headstock) top loader with a Tex-Mex in the neck and a Vintage 61 (I think) in the bridge. My dad gave it to me for Christmas and I’ll never let it go. The other is a partscaster made of a roasted maple 50s neck and an XGP double bound body (about to swap out the body for something not so dull) and it has Lace Sensor Blue in the neck and a double Red in the bridge. Call it my Grunge-o-caster. When I get a new body, I’ve got some nitro Olympic white to give it a very thin skin and will put a high quality hardtail bridge on it as opposed bro the cheap chrome one I have on it. Open to your thoughts.
One is a 2006 Fender Highway One with Fat 50s added and the other is a 100% fender component partscaster with a Fender Original Series pickguard w/ Fender Vintage 61s (I think). Don’t think any guitar that I have survives stock for long.
Looks like I’m going to have to wait a while for my JHS Coyote to finish the board. Running midi for my M1 Modulation and D1 Delay through my HX Effects. The HX Effects has one dedicated expression pedal seen on the far right…let me have it!
In the next week it’ll be finished out with an Xotic XW-1 Wah (got it used in stellar condition for $120), JHS Coyote Fuzz, Keeley Comp Mini, and front end of gain stage EX EQ7 EQ. It’ll be complete then. Also, have a Dunlop DVP4 connected to the HX Effects off board. Also, I’m going to build a riser board for the Wah so that it fits with the additional real estate south of the Mako M1.
