I had a total of 65k unsecured debt. So far in one month I've settled an 18k cc for $4100, and an 11k balance for $2900. Slowly working from largest to smallest so I don't get smacked with a garnishment on a high balance card. I'm almost halfway out of debt for $7,000. If you're considering a chapter 13 and don't own a home or have any major assets like me, seriously consider contacting creditors individually and seeing if they will settle.
