Has anyone here recently done the VAT refund process while flying out of Rome? Any tips or insights on what to do/what not to do? I’m candidly a little confused on how the whole process works so appreciate any advice!
Quoted $32,000 for Arabescato marble ($150 sq ft) + Black Zimbabwe black granite ($50 sq ft) including fabrication, installation, etc. The slabs alone are ~$14,800 based on the price per sq ft and size of slab, but does ~$17K for fabrication, installation, etc and assuming “cut” from our designer/GC sound right? Boggled at these prices but I really have no clue as to whether this is fair/reasonable pricing or not. Appreciate any insights.
