Will Leroy Jenkins enjoy Dead Men Tales? And if I miss the crowd funding stage, will the late pledge state contain the same rewards?

I discovered the brilliance of zombicide last week at a board game cafe while we were on holiday. We played the first mission of both 2nd ed and White death. I've since ordered 2nd ed.

The timing for me discovering this series is either terrible or brilliant (depending how you look at it), as someone mentioned to me on this sub a few days ago the gamefound for dead men. I also was directed to the zombicide fans podcast and I've listened to their ep on dead men, but I didn't follow a lot of what they were talking about (not having the background understanding of the series).

I now am in the position where it's got only a few hours left and I don't know enough about these games or the funding system to make an educated decison.

My first is question is: do you guys (who understand the games better than me and might understand how dead men is going to differ) think that Leroy Jenkins is going to enjoy Dead Men, or do you think it's going to be more thinky (like how I've seen white death described).

My second question is more about how these gamefound things work. I've send there is a late pledge stage. If I miss the crowd funding stage, will I still get all the same goodies (stretch goals etc)?

Thank you for helping this poor confused new zombicide fan.

TLDR: is dead men going to be thinky or charge in wildly type fun? Will I miss out if I miss the crowdfunding stage?

Tried Zombicide for the first time. Loved it, but overwhelmed at buying options.

My wife and I tried Zombicide out at a board game cafe for the first time this week and absolutely loved it! We played both white death, and 2nd Edition, and liked both, but preferred 2nd ed. I wanted to immediately buy it, but then looking around it seems its sold out everywhere (I think there might possibly be more availability elsewhere, but we're UK based).

Looking into it more there seems to be so many versions of zombicide, and so many different kickstarter variations that it's totally got me confused.

I've found a store that might be able to back order 2nd ed for me, but he's not sure if it will even definitely come in. I was also interested in extra minis and expanding it to 7 players for my friend group, but the player expansion is sold out everywhere too!

I was wondering if anyone might have any advice on how to source the game and expansions? Also, if the games production wise are one and done kind of things, and if things like the player expansion are something that might be restocked? I was also wondering what varieties of zombicide would might recommend?

My friend and I were talking about this due to the King's visit. If the US had stayed a colony, then it would likely have developed into a Dominion and then gained independence in the end anyway like Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Would we likely see big differences in the US today?

Maybe a political system where the elected head has less executive power like the prime ministers of commonwealth countries? No civil war as the slave trade would have been banned already by Britain in 1807? No constitution means no gun culture perhaps? Some kind of universal healthcare?

On the other hand, perhaps the US doesn't expand beyond the original east coast colonies, and therefore doesn't become a global superpower?

What do you guys think?
