I was talking with a friend the other day and realized there are a lot of basic hygiene things people just kind of figure out on their own at random points in life.
For me, it was changing my bedsheets more often. I used to think once a month was fine until someone pointed out how much sweat and stuff builds up over time, and now I can’t unthink it. It honestly made a noticeable difference in how I sleep and even my skin.
It made me wonder what other “obvious” hygiene habits people either missed growing up or only learned later on.
What’s something hygiene-related you didn’t realize you were doing wrong (or not doing at all) until way later?
