EA are in a bit of a pickle with FC27
With how shite this game is with ai defending and through ball spam, a lot of people have lost interest in this game, and a larger majority will probably quit after TOTS.
However, in about a month from now EA will start marketing FC27, which will be problematic for them because:
- The lies they sold us for this game will lead to alot of people now believing whatever sham they plan to sell us on FC27
- Even in an unrealistic world where the game is good, alot of people are now willing to look past a game that starts out "good", seeing how this game panned out, so even if FC27 is good, people are more inclined to think "EA will just eventually screw up the game"
- GTA 6 release around the corner, what more can I say?
After years of continuous promises, I think it's about time we see the community moves on and retire to just couch play, because EA have also made it clear that they don't care about any of their other game modes - Career mode, Clubs, Seasons. The rinse and repeat over the years in this game mode is alot worse than it is in FUT, alot of people just don't realise.
Take what I say with a pinch of salt though
Also forgot to mention that EA getting acquired by private equity might lead to an even bigger focus on profit maximization, we know what that looks like rn
