Releasing this now while analyzing IE but anyways. This analysis is contingent on the fact you are aware of the context surrounding pandemic game. Also Reddit either doesn't let me post scans in posts or I don't know how to so scans will be in the comments.

Also the sources I will be using:

https://scienceinsights.org/where-is-fight-or-flight-in-the-brain/

Firstly let's go over the mechanisms of the survival instincts. To keep it brief:

The Amygdala analyzes sensory input received from the thalamus and compare them against your memories to see if there's any potential threats. If there is a threat it sends a signal to the hypothalamus which sends a signal to the brainstern and the automatic nervous system that you're in danger. If it's not a threat the prefrontal cortex mostly reassess the situation but if it a threat it's gonna flood your body with cortisol to reduce unnecessary bodily functions for the moments (like the ones related to reproduction for exemple) and it's gonna asses the situation holistically.

Also something very important for the analysis. There's two main pathways working in parrael, the slow and fast pathway. The slow pathway is the thalamus-sensory cortex- amygdala. This one does a lot more in depth analysis of the information that is actually relevant that reaches the PFC. One of its main job when it comes to survival instincts is mostly a regulator to shut down amygdala when it misfires because otherwise life would genuinely suck if you couldn't subconsciously shut down amygdala hijacks.

The fast pathway is the one you rely the most on during fight and flights given its fast nature. It's from the thalamus to the amygdala.

Now that some things have been established let's look over the states of the players during pandemic and what Akiyama is working against

They are playing a game where there's no revival round and any losses is an automatic 100 million debts

They are participants of the Liar game meaning that they've experienced deception and lies which makes them in general less susceptible to manipulation based off purely emotions

Yokoya is using something called the appeal to scarcity and he has shown strong social proofs legitimizing it by showing its win win nature

They have spent 10 minutes building stress

When Yokoya finished speaking, Nao (who has better EP than Akiyama by the way) said that she felt a gigantic shift in the atmosphere and it was like they (the players) had been mesmerized by a siren

Also Akiyama is dealing with a version of the prisoner dillema but on genuine crack given it's 4 people instead of 2 people, there's no logical incentives to stop given Akiyama has NO leverage, and if one player stops to listen to Akiyama they lose precious grounds they could have spent going to Yokoya's side.

All of this, combined with what was said before (The amygdala compares sensory input to previous experience-in this scenario the players will face life crippling debts which is a huge incentive for the brain to panick unless you can argue the players have never heard of what a debt is) alongside the fact they're legit showing signs of survival instincts such as fear (they have sweats and obviously panicked expression) gives convincing evidence that is what is happening

Oh and I forgot Akiyama does not know anyone here he has only been with them since the pandemic game started meaning he is lacking information.

And remember what I said about the fast pathway gettint information first? It means that a purely logical argument will not work. For them to stop Akiyama would need with a single sentence to genuinely create an emotional response on multiple people at once, so intense that the fast pathway interprets it as more important than what is objectively more beneficial to the player's winning chances and the long pathway evaluates it logically enough for the players to not run.

Alltat for this feat to get slimed by Naomi Misora manipulation 🤣

Fanfic accusation coming in 3 2 1... (I will genuinely be impressed if somebody debunks everything here btw.) Scans will be at the end.

Anyways. Before I even explain the strategy, let's explain the reasoning behind this interpretation and the evidence I'm using.

Firstly, let's go over NPl. The plan is this:

Akiyama wins a bunch of games

Akiyama uses his earnings to save the losers

Akiyama takes the debts for them and keeps going

Eventually this will cause the Liar game to alt f4 from existence because they're essentially running non profitable loans.

Simple, right?

Except that it's so flawed that it wouldn't make sense for Akiyama to genuinely believe in it, especially given his holistic approach to the liar game as a whole and the fact as far back as minority rule he has already been thinking of what the liar game truly was beyond their "we wanna crown the king of liars" facade.

The first problem is that Akiyama did not kept NPL as a secret. He told it in front of Fukunaga in the revival round which basically means the possibility of it being fake in the eyes of the Liar game's office is non existent especially when he follows through said promises to save everyone. This is a very massive profile because according to the own premises Akiyama set up, the liar game wants to make money. There is no reasons for them to not use a rigged game to outright get rid of him, something they can do given they're able to improvise games if need be as demonstrated by pandemic game where the whole point was to cut down the amount of people that would participate during musical chairs. Not to mention even without this exemples the price Akiyama would theoretically cost to the liar game if his plan work is worth the money spent on equipment for a rigged game.

The second problem is that Akiyama cannot be everywhere at once. There are seperate games that are happening in some rounds such as bid poker and pandemic game where Akiyama cannot possibly intervene. This means any losers from these rounds go into debts which ultimately give the Liar game organization profit. This basically means at best Akiyama's plan would cause a very bad profit margin for the liar game which is even more likely given the liar game office owns expensive infrastructure like a massive network of cameras at several locations to watch over the players at all times as well as a giant island for musical chair which suggests they're decently wealthy.

And the third problem is Akiyama's lack of active measures to get Nao out of the liar game despite the fact Akiyama projects his mother onto Nao which means it makes no sense to include Nao into NPL since in paper she has no roles. You may ask that Nao was in debt most of the series and couldn't get out, except that's not entirely true. Harimoto's cult paid off Nao's debt at the end of bid poker and assuming Akiyama does care about Nao he would at least attempt some measures so that the Liar game agent wouldn't try to manipulate Nao back into the liar game.

All of this leads to the assumption that if we reject LGI as an entire concept, we're doing a character assassination of Akiyama and assuming that the previous holistic thinking he has held is either not applied here for some reasons or that he is banking his plan on luck.

This is where Liar game infiltration comes in with the approach of "wait this doesn't make sense why tf would Akiyama do all of this" as an attempt to provide an explanation that could make sense and is valid with Akiyama's portrayed capabilities and character.

According to LGI, Akiyama's goal wasn't NPL. LGI goes on the premise that either during Contraband or pandemic, Akiyama realized his initial assumptions about the Liar game'a modus operandi was flawed and decided to create a hidden strategy that would allow him to find out the true purpose behind the liar game while keeping Nao safe and building advantages long term.

Now onto the components of this strategy:

Yokoya's reconstruction:

Starting off with probably the weakest interpretation in this but that still explains why Akiyama kept Nao into NPL.

Yokoya's reconstruction is basically Akiyama's manipulation of Yokoya in order to break his core belief as a contingency and his main method of gaining information. To do this, Akiyama needed to use Nao as a way of creating a doubt and he also needed to consistently defeat Yokoya as a way of showing to him his flawed ideology. The goal was to overtime create a cognitive dissonance into Yokoya which Akiyama could use to remove his domination belief he has held for his entire childhood.

What's the point of it as a contigency? It's to ensure in the case Akiyama is, for some reasons or another, wrong in his assumption that his initial theory of the Liar game modus operandi is wrong or that he needs to get Nao out of the liar game. In which case Akiyama could manipulate Yokoya into abandoning his core belief and use his help and resources to escape any potential trap the LG office set for him. Not to mention that Yokoya's money ensure if he has to Akiyama can pay off Nao's debt. Canonically, Akiyama used it during R04K so that he wouldn't bribe a general on either kingdom to attack first.

Furthmore, Akiyama still needed to learn about the Liar game and if we assume that Akiyama kept track of Yokoya's mental state (which he would need to do if we accept the premise that YN is a valid feat) it would be logical for him to anticipate that Yokoya would try to gain information about the Liar game office and there was a slight chance he would reveal it to gain an advantage which Akiyama could use for his true goal.

Player's facilitation:

Eh, nothing special. Akiyama basically letting Nao be Nao as a way of building her up as a trust magnet for long term advantages. It's a side effect of Yokoya's reconstruction

Fake martyr:

Rip Akiyama's AC :(

Anyways. Fake martyr is what Akiyama did during the post revival round of contraband. He "revealed" to Fukunaga that one of the component of the NPL plan was that he would sacrifice himself. This is meant to act as a layer of concealement. In the case that the liar game office also realize the flaws of NPL, fake martyr exist to make Akiyama look like this spiteful sacrificial person who got so damaged by the death of his mother he is willing to throw his own life away just to hurt them, something that would give a plausible explanation of why Akiyama is still in the game if NPL is flawed and also mostly aligns with the personality the Liar game knows about Akiyama

NPL fabrication:

Basically canon NPL, in this version it acts as a first layer of misdirection to conceal his true goal, but it also has other purposes. It acts as a way to ensure the victims created by the LGI are as minimal as possible in case their modus operandi is in fact reliant on indebted losers. It also ensures that Yokoya doesn't give up on the logic that if Yokoya cannot directly defeat Akiyama in a battle of wits, he can defeat him by attacking NPL itself.

Nao's battle (the scan portrayed above is for this btw):

Also one of the weaker links of LGI. It's basically Akiyama, on par with fake martyr, adopting a mostly non social approach to ensuring Nao of her own get out of the liar game. In this component, Akiyama in the eyes of the liar game is trying to get Nao to exit the liar game by mainly constantly winning with the hopes of Nao realizing that Akiyama doesn't need her. This approach also has Akiyama not really attempting to form a close bond and moreso that the reason Nao is an ally of Akiyama and vice versa is more so transactional. The main scan as evidence is mainly during bid Poker when the dealers genuinely thought there would be a split between Akiyama and Nao until Nao realized Akiyama probably foresighted the players not spending more than a specific amount, although they latee retracted the statement it does give convincing evidence that subconsciously they genuinely believed this would happen hence why they jumped to this conclusion first. Nao's battle is mainly another layer of concealement

There's also Kimura Kei neutralization which I'll release eventually after releasing IE which is an improvisation but outside of that it's basically all components.
