Hi everyone,

I’m currently a master’s student and I’ve already published 4 papers in good conferences in my area. Recently, I received an invitation through ScholarOne for a journal called Intelligent Data Analysis. Everything seemed legitimate, so I created an account and logged in.

A few days later, I was invited to review an article related to my research field. The thing is, I’m not sure if I’m actually qualified enough to review journal papers yet. I’m “only” a master’s student, and I feel like I might not have the experience or expertise expected for something like this.

Is it normal for master’s students to receive review invitations? And if so, how do you know whether you’re qualified enough to accept?
