Bought Grandeur this winter as my first car. Came from Korea, 2016, 2.4L. I, myself, live in Central Asian country.
The problem starts at the car being ...pretty damn Korean, and insisting on keeping it that way. The multimedia is some janky android build in which i had no problem switching languages, but it is still android on a small amount of ram which results in it being slow, laggy, no aesthetic pleasure etc etc.
That one is manageable, but the dashboard is entirely on the Korean language, and i watched a good chunk of videos with instructions where the author has a clear "Language" option in their settings, while mine does not. I figured that it must be because of the car (or this specific model) being marketed strictly on Korea market and thus not needing languages option in the first place.
To the web i go again. I find out that Grandeur is essentially the same car named Azera, and after some time i stumble to NavigationUpdater, where i download "2015_2017_Azera_USA" soft package. This one i struggled with, because the software (NaU) doesn't have neither Azera nor Grandeur options to download (I picked the "Russia and CIS region that time), and when i try to change my region to South Korea for more options, it just tells me "No lmao.". Probably because of the war and the sanctions we got for associating with Russia. Did not install that Azera package yet.
Additionally, the VIN so far only shows up in the Korean Hyundai VIN check site, not on global, but that might be because we haven't touched the car much since buying, and haven't gotten plates, registration, insurance, anything yet.
What do i do, and what do i not do? Anything is appreciated at this point. Can i install that Azure package to the android?
