The two vacant houses behind mine sold now I have mice ?
I’ve lived in my home for 10 months and to my knowledge never had a rodent problem. The two houses behind mine sat vacant for 6-8 months. They were sold about a month ago to an investor and within the last 2-4 weeks. Both have been occupied, I noticed a single (or so I thought) mouse last week Thursday. I didn’t think anything of it got around to baiting and setting two snap traps on Sunday. When they didn’t catch anything after two days. I picked up a ten pack of glue traps. When I got home this morning I had caught 4 mice.
Do I have a major infestation ? Or has the influx of people driven them into my house ? Or were they brought in ?
I’m ready for the nuclear option what ever that is with an exterminator. But before I spend I figured I should ask.
