Realistically, could Kratos go back to Greece? Is there a Greece to go back to?

Given the end of GOW3, how everything was destroyed. Would there be any humans left? We know there where some gods and demigods still alive, would they reclaim the realm and rebuild, or is it now a dead realm where only nature reclaimed the earth?

I know we probably won't get a new game there, I just wanted to know if there is just chaos, or did the Hope Kratos released onto the world actually change it for the better?
