Hello My family 3 kids 14,11,11 are planning a 3 week trip to Europe in August.

Would appreciate thoughts and comments on, if this itinerary would work in terms of logistics. Booked open jaw flight. This time the kids dont want to see any art museums. Maybe Van Gogh in Amsterdam being the exception.

Mon 8/9 - Wed 8/11 - 3 nights, Budapest. Flight lands at Noon, so will have time to do the night cruise. Will book the Parliment tour for Tues and Buda Castle tour especially cave tour. Half a day trip to Bratislava en route to Wien.

Thurs 8/12 - Sun 8/15 - 4 nights Vienna (Wien). Schönbrunn Palace, Spanish Riding School Show at Hofburg Palace, Stephens Cathedral and Belvedere Palace. Prater amusement park, “Light of Creation” Votivkirche Immersive Light Show. Vivaldi Four Seasons concert. Kids love Vivaldi.

Day trip to Wachau or Rax or Altaussee

Mon 8/16 - Tue 8/17 Prague 2 nights

Wed 8/18 - Sat 8/21 Berlin 4 nights. Will squeeze a Potsdam day trip.

Sun 8/22 - Tue 8/25 - 3 nights Bruges and Ghent, stopover at Cologne to see the Cathedral and break up the long trip from Berlin to Bruges.

Wed 8/26 - Thurs 8/27 Amsterdam

Fly out to US on Friday 2pm flight.

Kids are seasoned travelers and have no problem in doing 2 week plus trips.Any suggestions for adding a day or removing a day. Flight tickets have been booked. Can Budapest be done in 2 days with the added night at Vienna to do another day trip?
