Reducing weights until you can’t lift

Just a hypothetical I thought of..
Say if I an doing a dumbbell bench press with a 10kg weights and reach failure. Then I drop down to 8 kg dumbbells and again reach failure. Then 6, 4, 2, 1, and zero. Is there any benefit in doing so many drop sets to build muscle? Or could this actually be bad for you.

Just a disclaimer: I am just starting off with PCB designing and this is my first proper project made using EasyEDA.

I am making a simple charging circuit for a larger ESP-32 S3 based device which will run on a 500mAh battery. I haven't made the schematic for the rest yet because I wanted to get the power supply down first.

I plan on using this same USB receptacle to provide data to the ESP as well (Using D+ and D-). Should I also add a voltage regulator using an AMS1117 to V+ (or +VBAT, im a bit confused about that as well)?

Please suggest any fixes or improvements that could be made here.
