Hi, I am new to the fan fiction community but I started writing my first ever fan fic and I would love to hear thoughts from people in the community. Its called Homeward Hands and it's on AO3.
Aria’s family has been fractured ever since the Battle of Hogwarts, and she’s spent her whole life cut off from the wizarding world because of it. When her older sister Elizabeth gets her Hogwarts letter, everything Aria thought she knew about her family shatters. The lies, the secrets, the history—none of it is what she believed.
Now Aria has to figure out who she is in a world she was never allowed to be part of. She has to untangle her family’s dark past, navigate the shifting relationships inside her own home, and decide what “family” even means to her.
This is a coming‑of‑age story filled with OCs, angst, softness, and slow, messy growth. You’ll follow Aria from childhood into adulthood—and hopefully fall in love with her the way I have.
