Shower drain smells like a swamp/sewer gas type smell. It seems as though it’s from whatever is growing on the 4” of pipe above the water line in the trap. I have to scrub the walls of the pipe once a week or the smell returns. Any suggestions to cure this problem? Never experienced this before. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
