Social Dorms and your Experiences? - Sophomore Transfer :)
Hi everybody! I'm an incoming male transfer student (CC), and I'll be a Sophomore in Fall of 2026. Does anyone have any social residence hall recommendations?
I would love to have a single room as well, but above all, I just want to make friends so I'd prefer a triple in a really social residence hall over a single in a socially dead one.
So all of you columbia juniors/seniors/alums, what was your experience with your residence hall in sophomore year haha. What's the most social dorm? What's the "party dorm"? The "studious dorm"? The best dorm for a single but still social? Did you have a good experience with roommates? Did you have any problems with your residence hall? Any funny stories to share?
I'm trying to get as much info on Sophomore dorm life as possible!
