a Gardevoir and a Baby (Fanart)

This was my first attempt at drawing a Gardevoir (so apologies for the inaccurate proportions. Also, artwork isn't my strong suit.)

The context is based on an idea I had for a written story in which a Gardevoir in the wild finds a human baby alone in the woods, and takes it in and raises it like a page straight our of The Jungle Book, or Tarzan.

I guess I always figured a Gardevoir would make a great foster mom to human children, and I liked the idea of one being a mother figure to a baby.

(Note: made a night variant, as I also like the idea that Gardevoir's eyes illuminate in the dark)

When You Find Yourself... (Thank You, Amphibia)

[Song Link]

(Something I made some time ago not too long after Amphibia's finale.)

I've had this on my mind since as far back as when Amphibia was still on television when I listened to my old CD of the Pixar's Cars Soundtrack, and found that the lyrics of "When You Find Yourself" by Brad Paisley to nearly match Anne Boonchuy's personal character arc.

So I decided to make this *'*Song Quote Motivational' as a sort of Alternate Anne's Theme.

Some may find this debatable, but I think it works (especially in the context of my "Owlphibia" fan works, but that is another thing entirely.)

[Gray-Lord] 90s Retro Amphibia Art

[ART SOURCE]

Out of all Amphibia fan works, I love these the most.

I was a kid in the 90s, and so I grew up in the 1990s era of Disney (back in the days of VHS tapes, Disney Channel and the Nintendo 64.)

And part of what I love about Amphibia as a show is how "nostalgic" it is. Like, it is a modern Disney cartoon, but it captured the spirit of 90s Disney for me.

I could see Amphibia being a show that might've existed back in the 1990s... sure, there wouldn't be any smartphones or anything like that. But put that aside, and Amphibia really does feel timeless.

So, I liked these artworks done by Gray-Lord (who also did some for The Owl House), showing the posters altered to be my 90s with retro fonts and the concept of a VHS movie of Walt Disney's Amphiba (which I so would've watched hundreds of times as a kid.)

I am sure in another reality, Amphibia might've been part of "Disney Renaissance" alongside The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Mulan.

and in some weird way... this is why I am still an Amphibia fan, and still love the show.

It feels like it was always part of my childhood... even though it technically never was.
